V-VPN is cost-efficient, offered on a full-time or part-time basis according to Customer needs. Initial signals from any location which is to pass through our V-VPN is accomplished by a standard process interface, then transported to Kick Communications’s Fiber-Optic facilities or directly to our network’s end delivery point locations of broadcasters, uplinkers, production houses, companies, institutions and agencies.

The bandwidth for a Broadcast Quality Video Services video channel is 4.5 MHz and complies with ANSI, EIA/TIA 250C specifications. This service is available on a full-time/permanent basis or a part-time/daily basis between two customer premises for two-point configurations.

Optional Features
Switching (available at designated video hubs) — video switching arrangements provide customers network flexibility and the ability to rapidly switch video signals remotely in an economical way. In some hubs control of the configuration remains with the customer who provides the information on the destination ports desired and then selects the source port to be connected.

Video Patch Arrangement — allows video switch customers to connect video switches located in the same video hub and video channels between each other.

Additional Audio Signals — a third or fourth audio signal may be added to the two 15 kHz audio signals included with Broadcast Quality Video Transport Services video signal.
